DUNU x Gizaudio DaVinci

Nice and spacious with great PRAT.

Firstly, thanks to Elise audio for recommending this IEM to me. When I opened the box and got them out I thought they might be a bit too big for me but due to their feather weight they sit perfectly in my ears and are really comfortable. Another aspect of the design I really like is the cable, which is stiff enough to prevent easy tangling but not so much as to be uncomfortable. I also really like the interchangeable plug sysyem on the cable - so much better than having to use an adaptor or multiple cables. They are supplied with three packs of eartips. Here is my only real complaint about this item: two of the packs of eartips are ridiculously tight and difficult to fit - i wasted a lot of time trying to fit these. Fortunately the other pack, with the grey coloured eartips, were easy to fit and just so happen to be the best sounding IMHO. The really important part is of course the sound. I found them to be slightly forward sounding, nice and spacious and have great PRAT with nothing serious to complain about. Of course they aren't perfect but having owned a couple of fairly expensive IEM's in the past I was pleasantly surprised at how good these sound for such a relatively low cost. All in all a bit of a bargain.

Great Tuning

The tuning of these are just what I wanted. Decent bass, exciting midrange and treble but not overdone. They also scale very well. Very good with FiiO KA17 and even better with Shanling ET3/EH3.

A great IEM

The da Vinci is an entertaining IEM and is tuned in the new “meta” or “JM1” style, with an added bass boost. This new tuning is great for those who are treble sensitive as it has a sweet and relaxed treble. The added bass boost gives the IEM a distinctive character, with a very natural reproduction of instruments and voices. It is also a fine looking IEM with beautiful wood face plates. Highly recommended !
