I bought these as a second pair/upgrade after my first shoes (Butora Endeavor) wore down enough to lose all their edges. I figured I'd use both, but these are just so much better. They fill the same niche, as a beginner to early-intermediate level shoe that can be worn for an entire gym session and casual climbs, but still holds up to harder intermediate routes. Slightly less comfortable than the Endeavor, but more sensitive and precise for tiny footholds. I wear a 37 narrow, and I appreciate that Butora has sizes that suit small feet.

Sizing issues
The shoes were slightly tighter than any other 9 1/2 I’ve owned. If I’d had known they ran small I’d have gotten a size up. On top of that when I don’t wear socks it creates a wind noise whenever I walk because the space around my ankle is wider than my ankle.

within a three months of having these shoes and NOT climbing consistently, the entire black rubber sole of the shoe has detached in several places on BOTH SHOES. In the same spots. i climb maybe once or twice a month, this is unacceptable for my shoes to just be falling apart when i take them out of my gym bag. I’m disappointed, i spent good money on these shoes.
