It actually works!! My dog specifically lies on it when he’s feeling too hot. When it’s not too hot he’ll sleep anywhere but when the temperature rises, he goes to the mat. I notice the coolness to the touch as well. Along with the ceiling fan it is helping him through the summer. The fan alone wasn’t enough and he would pant which is why I got the mat. The panting has stopped and I’m thankful that he’s much more comfortable now. It’s also pretty and goes well with my decor.

Not as described, mat is thin and the size of a tea towel. Very disappointing product.
