idea is great! Hardware didn’t fit my extrusions.

The mount idea is great but the hardware choices didn’t fit my extrusions on my tent. So of course I had to modify them by installing regular hex head bolts. They don’t slide well so the mounts bind a lot in the track which means they aren’t that quick to set up. Also if you are installing on a topper getting wrench underneath to tighten things down can be very problematic. I had to mark the location of the fixed mount then prop up the tent over the cross bars so I could get in and tighten the fixed mounts. Over all the initial set up took about 2.5 hrs including swapping out all the bolts so I had something I could use. I wish they had better options for the bolt head type. I think mine is just what they call 20/20 extrusion. We’ll see how easy removal goes today. They did hold the tent great on the trip.

Great product for a quick release solution for your RTT. I haven’t had to remove the RTT since I installed it, but the install was super quick, compared to having to use the saddle brackets. Glad I came across this product and company.
