Fun and Easy Build

The lead time on this was pretty much dead on, so no surprises there. I found the official build guide very good, and the youtube tutorial a great resource. I've built 4 or 5 custom dactyls, so printing and assembling this was not difficult. After getting it together, I had a couple of sticky keys that just turned out to be some extra super glue around the magnets, so it was an easy fix.

Solid kit for a wonderful device

For context I already have a factory issue Svalboard which I love. The kit itself is excellent, plenty of spares in there and instructions are fairly easy to follow. If you enjoy this kind of thing or already have one then I’d highly recommend it. On the other hand do not underestimate just how good value the factory built one is, it takes quite a lot of time to put together and refine the tolerances to get it all working correctly. I’d recommend the factory built option if you can afford it and need a solution quickly. Whichever way you go, the board is just great and it was a fun build.

Absolutely lovely

Even without any prior experience with heat set inserts, building this was a piece of cake. Provided printable tools for magnet assembly make that process about 10 times easier and faster than if you didn't have them. Apart from kit contents, all provided model files were easy to setup and print, and assembly instructions were easy to follow too.
