I went with the nail resistant version because Buddy is a digger. He paws at it before every nap, no leaks, no weird crinkle noise, just a gentle slosh that actually calms him. The large size is perfect for his goofy sprawl. Cleaning is easy, quick wipe and the fur comes right off. Small tip, if your dog is unsure at first, lay a thin towel on top. My friend did that for her senior beagle and he took to it right away. Buddy even chooses this over the couch now, which honestly makes me so happy. He naps longer, he is cooler, and my heart feels lighter seeing him comfy. My dog absolutly loves it.
