Pretty but some structural flaws
Good dress, but not exactly what I was expecting.
Cons:
The color is darker than shown in the photos, and doesn't have as much shine.
The bottom section isn't lined and is quite sheer and much clingier than depicted on the model as a result. A slip is necessary.
The dress arrived with a seam connecting the bodice and the smocking coming loose. Easy fix, but not something that should happen at this price point.
Pros:
Unique design and good overall fit. The smocking in the back is subtle enough that the dress doesn't lose much formality, and makes for a more reliable fit across body types.
Comfortable! Could benefit from more boning in the bodice but easy to move in.
Very flattering, the pleating/ruching is nice.
