Ford Performance OEM Matte Black Grille Emblem Overlay

What I did … 1st, I thoroughly cleaned the OEM Bronco letters and dried them off using a microfiber cloth. 2nd, I washed the OEM letters again using 91% rubbing alcohol and dried them off using another microfiber towel. 3rd, I then used the 3M Adhesive promoter and lightly wet each letter with it. Then, I waited 30-60 seconds for the 3M Adhesive promoter to dry on the OEM letters. Finally, I started to remove the tape covering the glue adhesive and pressed each letter thoroughly over the OEM letters for about 30 seconds. The Black Grille Emblem Overlay letters adhere very well and simply look great against the Bronco’s all black bumper, grille and bully bar. I am very pleased with this outcome; it’s subtle yet significant. Now, the only question is will the overlay letters stand the test of time on the road, in winter with salt, in a car wash and more. For now, I am very happy and expect at the cost of these overlay letters they will last.
