Huge and okay quality

I bought a newborn outfit and it’s huge. I wanted it to be a take home outfit or for her to wear at her newborn shoot but there’s no way. The outfits bloomers fit my 16mo…I’d say the whole outfit was equivalent to a size 9mo. Quality was okay, but for $50 I was expecting it to be well made, soft and not have excess thread that needed to be trimmed away. When contacted they said it first up to 9lbs and premie sizing would be better…..I didn’t even know what to say to that because it was huge…har beyond 9lbs.
