excellent product found to make a smoke/fire detector work as designed without the need to run a new dedicated supply voltage circuit to operate component. easily installed the step-down buck to drop the incoming 55VDC power supply to normal equipment operation voltage of 12VDC. smoke/fire detector operating under normal operations, quoted repairs now complete.
