This Ghost Ship Never Slips!

Great example of a 21st century horror movie that doesn't rely on teenagers to drive the proceedings! Magnificent - and VERY original - massacre scene at the film's beginning, which MUST be seen! Perfectly creepy little girl, who did not get the chance to grow up into a typical horror-teen! Quietly - but decisively - steals the show! An unexpected villain seals the deal! Bonus features were, unfortunately, no more than "just okay", and are too weighted toward the different technical aspects of making the film... something that fails to interest me in the GCI era! It REALLY could have used a commentary track by scholars of the genre! They always manage to point out critical things that we mortal viewers often overlook! Still a FIVE-Star effort for the film itself!
