H7 LED ADAPTERS : VW GOLF / JETTA MK 5

VW H7 LED adaptors

These arrived today and I have briefly tried my H7 NARVA LEDs in the adaptors. They are considerably more substantial than the cheaper ones from another online retailer that weren't strong enough to hold the globe in place when attempting to screw into the VW housing. However, the NARVA globes are a few millimeters too long to effectively screw the heat sink on and therefore will need me to fabricate some kind of filler at the back to firmly anchor the globes in place. Have you tried various LED globes to ascertain the best average fit and dimensions ? By the way Narva were completely unaware that an adaptor was needed for VWs and some other makes. Gary
