Boat in Blue

This is my first attempt at "painting by numbers" and decided to purchase this 48 colour painting kit from Number Artist as I liked the calm theme and overall colour. I purchased my canvas ready mounted and was very happy with the quality of the canvas. All the paints needed were there, good quality and plenty to cover the areas required. The number removing pen was useful. The paint brushes were ok but could be better quality. Delivery took over 2 weeks which was quite a long wait after deciding on my canvas. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and the finished item. I did decide to paint a few very light areas in the sea a slightly darker tone and personally feel that the lower right area is a little heavy (dark). The reflection of the yacht is lovely. Overall the finished colours are lighter than those on the website but still very nice.

This was my fourth painting. It was not my best and not my favorite but very nice. I would recommend going with the most colors for this one as I cannot see the people in the boat. I’m looking forward to my next one.

So far all the different painting that I choose,love all of them.some are easier than others but it is still wonderful to paint,requires patience and precision, love it.
