The alpaca dress socks are over the calf, as I like them. The have slightly more bulk than most dress socks I've worn without looking or feeling bulky. They have adequate compression to prevent them from sagging without being constricting, comfortable for all day wear. Due to the nature of the alpaca fiber, without bulk, they provide warmth in the winter without being hot in the summer. They are well worth the price and I have been extremely pleased with my purchases from My Comfy.
