SKYTRAK™ MAX/ST+ Protective Case

SkyTrak Max/ST+

I was debating giving this a 4 star rating as I was left wondering if the similar less expensive metal cases sold online would be a little more robust than this case. However, the grey plastic may help keep the unit cooler than the black metal units sold online, so I bumped up the score. The SkyTrak Max/ST+ has been preforming great. Enjoying the recent update and the Core FS membership.

Overall the skytrak Max + is solid and accurate, except for course play. I am a +3 handicap, and play on various mini tours. The course play club and ball speeds don’t match up to the launch monitor. I confirmed temp, elevation, wind and humidity. There is consistently 7-10 mile per hour lower ball speeds on the course play and 3-5 mph lower on the club speed. Not sure why this is but it’s obvious when comparing. The putting is much improved over the original skytrak which I had for 6 years.
