San Marzano tomatoes are an absolute game changer. They are especially good used in dishes with a short cooking time, as they are sweet and have a fresh lightness to them. For long slow cooked dishes you’re probably better off saving a few dollars and just using a quality Italian plum tomato, always Italian and always whole not chopped! This brand is better than some, but not the best I have had, so I give it 4 stars.
