Cute, but I worry about longevity

These are so cute, but I have only worn the Blossom socks once and there is a small rip starting in the heel. I'm hoping that a few stitches will help it from spreading, but I am very disappointed that it only took one use for a rip to start. To be fair, the other two socks have been fine thus far.
