Great safety light!
I was looking for a long time for a good safety light for my husky and finally found this Beacon Dog Safety Light. The light is bright but not annoying. It works great!

Beacon Dog Light is great
I had a Bacon dog light for years for one of my dogs. I recued a dog a few years ago and bought a Nite Ize rechargeable light for her. It quit working after about 3 months. It would not charge and/or turn on so REI replaced it. It happened again after about 6 months. I finally ordered the beacon dog light from Ruffwear for her. I do wish REI would sell the Ruffwear Beacon lights again just so I could tell people they could get it there or order directly from Ruffwear.

Way above average a few small flaws
this is the third beacon light I have owned for my dogs. One of the first two is still running just great and they hold a charge for quite a long time and since they hang down in a nice quiet star shaped tag they are a bit more visible than something which is just on the collar. Easy to clip on and off and quick to charge. The second one I bought one of the two soft tabs that you press inward to turn it on and off completely fell off exposing the inside wiring after maybe two years. Which is a long time. Still I contacted the company because these are not cheap, and they actually replaced it under their warranty program and I just received the new champion. So I'm very impressed with the overall durability of this light and the brightness length of charge and ease of use. It does not make any noises because it is plastic. The little clip is secure but it allows you to take it off readily for charging and hook it onto any small loop. So it's easy to move around between dogs or onto other clips. Once I even hooked it to the back of my trailer so I had a nighttime light when my wiring failed, lol. Maybe they could improve the soft button so it doesn't come off and expose the guts of the little device. I'm sure it's also gotten wet many times and did not fail partly because those are soft rubber buttons that make a firm seal around the hard casing.
