Great idea, not a difficult installation, only problem I had was the included switch was defective. My switch kept sticking when pressed… I chose to locate and buy a better quality switch. I found a really nice metal one on Amazon, that was also pre wired and fit into the same hole that I had already cut. This switch is held on by a treaded nut and is very reasonably priced. After making this simple swap from the switch in this kit to the new switch, my installation was perfect and it works perfectly. All other parts included in this kit were used as directed with no problems. The switch change did not even require the removal of any factory parts other than the pocket in the door where the switch is installed…
