Extended Torch Mount

After making aome adjustments to my plasma table, I needed a torch mount to account for the distance bewteen my work aurface and the Arcdroid. This worked perfect and Arcdroid seems to have thought of everything.

99% Right

The Extended torch mount arrived promptly by post and well packaged. The mount is the same as the standard mount however includes a second set of clamps for a pencil style toch. There are three mounting points for the clamps. 1st, at the base as per standard torch mount. 2nd, half way up the bracket. 3rd is at the top of the bracket. The issue is that the clamps are wider than the bracket and prevent the curved retaining claws from rotating if the clamp is mounted in the 3rd mounting point at the top of the bracket where they provide the most stability. Possibly this mounting position could be used if the torch was not to be removed from the Arcdroid. For this reason I have used the 2nd position. I am considering manufacturing a set of clamps that are narrow and can be used in the first and third positions to correct this. A higher deffinition photo on the website may assist customers considering purchase of the mount. The mount is made to a very good quality and does work as intneded.

Poor design

After attaching the Machine Head you can't even put it on and latch it down after contacting Andrew he said to either bend the tabs or he had a file to cut out different latches. You should not have to alter a product you pay for this has been an ongoing problem with arcdroid always something I should have went with something different all together
