I was a RegalTip Combo user until they went away. I've tried 7A's, 8D's, and virtually every small diameter stick from all the major stick companies, but these are the perfect replacement for me. They are lightweight, feel good in the hand, and I have yet to break one. I highly recommend them..

I wanted a maple version of an "Elvin Jones Jazz" stick so I looked at the 525 BeBop, but ordered the 550 also. For me the 550 has a bit more control and purchase in the grip, but still has the taper and lighter tip. On the same Zildjian Kerope, Con, & Sabian AAX THIN, the 550 has a more even sound and not as bold as the Super Jazz I've been playing. The 525 is a quick whip but gets a little away from me, the 550 was a good suprise.
