Stumbled across my new favorite series

I came across this book on Audible when I had finished another book. I haven't been able to stop buying these since. Such beautiful, in depth, and rich writing. I haven't been so enthralled since reading the Joe Ledger series by Jonathan Maberry. I really never have been a fantasy person, mostly thriller, but the way this is written had me hooked ASAP. The writing is so vivid that it is easy for me to picture the story in my mind. The characters have such great details. They are fully thought out. I love that they are very long books so the story can fully play out. I can't wait to finish the series and start on another one from this spectacular world.
