I love the fact that this power supply allows for redundant power (Battery + PSU) and that it provides a powered R/S. Prior to this, I had to power off when switching batteries and I had to run my remote focus with a R/S cable + Power cable. This IO unit makes it much more set friendly and professional. I had power cables and power supplies from my Red DSMC2 camera and love the fact that I can continue using them with the Freefly Ember. Very satisfied with the product and quality of components. A worthy upgrade.
