No. 3 Solar Perfume Oil

Really wanted to love this scent, but unfortunately it is not a scent I would pick again for the price point. It smells exactly like cough drop (Ricola Honey Lemon) and not in a flaterring way. I asked someone else to smell the scent on me and they also said it smelled like a cough drop. The sweet oranage is too strong and what makes it smell like a cough drop (again not in a good way) would have loved if they brought out the jasmine and vanilla scent more. You can barely smell any of the other scents listed. Hot take but I would rather have a less pretty pacakge and an amazing perfume. I hope they reformula and bring better scents. But for now save your money and try Dime instead

As a nutrition practitioner I am always looking for new non toxic products for myself and my clients. I need the deep end scent in a vat but this was my first time smelling solar and now I need a vat of that too. The ingredients are phenomenal and well intentioned and smells great! I highly recommend! If shelter ever does PR I’d love to be involved!

Love: * The scent!! It is gorgeous and perfect. * The package. Stunning. * The ingredients. Of course. Don’t Love: * I really don’t smell it once it’s on me. If I raise my wrist up to my nose, sure, but even if I put any behind my ears, I really don’t pick up on it. I was not expecting a wild amount of longevity (per the natural ingredients and also disclaimers from the founder), but for $68, I want to smell it once it’s on me. It’s a beautiful product and I know so much work went into this, so I hate to give it three stars. Maybe it’s a body chemistry issue on my end? I hope so, I just hate to spend this much to not really smell my own perfume.
