I purchased this to run in (instead for for riding) as I couldn't find any big name outdoor brand running vests that I liked or that fit. This vest is perfect! Just what I was looking for. The perfect amount of storage, pockets and a bladder for longer runs.

Just get one.

Got my first ride in with this vest and was pleasantly surprised by how weightless it felt, it’s barely noticeable once you’re moving. I’m still a little skeptical about the bladder compartment not having any kind of closure. It looks a bit odd sticking out of the top, but I think that’s something I’ll get used to over time. I’ve tried a bunch of packs and hip bags this spring, and this one is easily my favorite so far. Feels like I’ve finally found the winner.

They nailed it. I use it for mountain biking in the Salt Lake area. I tried pretty much every other MTB hydration vest/pack out there and this is the only one that checked every box. I have a 46 inch chest, and this adjusts comfortably to fit me, even with layers. I also love the strap length over the top of my shoulders which allows this to sit at a natural position on my back. Premium cottage company build. Reminds me of products I have from ULA or HMG. Durable zippers? Check. Big front strap pockets. Check.I also love the side opening main compartment. This means you can access the storage while only removing one shoulder strap, not both. Hydration pouch access/securing is brilliant. It's obvious to me now after owning this that there is no reason to have the hydration pouch compartment behind a velcro or zipper. Whoever designed this gets that. And then shock cord for carrying layers. 10/10 review from a gear guy with high standards.
