KastKing ReKon Saltwater Spinning Reel

Kastking does it again.

To start with this is my second Rekon I have purchased. I first bought the 2500 series, and was so impressed by the drag and power handle that I purchased the 5000 series for my father in law who does mainly saltwater fishing. The smooth action of the bell and insaine quality for a price point more than half of brands that charge more due to there name, you will not go wrong in trusting in Kastking!

Its a great and durable reel. I purchased a size 6000 for my saltwater adventures in gulf shores. Ive reeled in about 20 fish with it so far its been a great reel. Looks good. Feels good. Works flawlessly.

3 years I’ve been using the Rekon 2500 for my charters and have over 30 of them rigged up differently to grab for what ever I’m going to do that day. From a small white trout to a giant red fish these reels can handle it with ease. I also use kastking braid on them and even with clients that don’t fish much very seldom do I ever have to deal with a wind knot. I have had zero issues with these reels with every day use.
