I've always brined my large birds in either a 5 gallon bucket or cooler and had to figure out how to keep it cold since they don't fit in the fridge. This bucket has a solid base so I don't have to worry about tipping over. I can fit it in my fridge. With the included lid, I don't have to worry about spilling while moving around and it's easy to carry with the indentations on the side to hold while I was going up and down stairs.

2nd attempt

This is my second bucket purchase. The first one I ordered was smaller than I expected (I misread the size) I'll be brining a pair of Turkey breasts for Yule (1 hr per LB) and smoking to temp. They aught to be beyond belief.

The briner bucket made brining our Thanksgiving Turkey a breeze. Fill it with the Brine, drop in the Turkey, press down and tighten the cover and then pop on the lid. Turkey was submerged and handling was easy. I'd recommend this over clumbsy bags or make shift buckets. Best way to go!
