Perfect Isurus desori tooth
I received a most remarkable Isurus desori tooth. First, it dates from the Rupelian! Second, it is in a perfect state of conservation. Being relatively large, crown height > 35 mm, I tried my amateurish I.D. skills aided by literature from the net, and comparison with other specimens, and failed frustratingly. However, I think I understand now way there are some disputes about the relationship among Macrorhizodus, Isurolama and Isurus desori, lesson I could not learn with teeth of lesser quality.

Always top notch service with Steve!
Have purchased from Steve multiple times and his service is always top notch. He has even helped me with places to search for teeth in Northern Florida. Easily top notch seller of shark teeth in the nation.

Small but Deadly
Though not having the "star power" of a Meg tooth, the sleek and razor sharp Isurus desori tooth makes a fine companion piece. My tooth collection was rather helter-skelter until I picked up a few Megs. But now I can see the excitement in comparing them to a number of other species. It gives you an appreciation of the tremendous variety found in these amazing creatures!
