Confusing website and guidance

I originally ordered the SEB26 and light strips with controller. I called customer service and asked asked if I can change the lights to the ones without a controller. They told me the 26” version won’t control the lights, and I need “the elite 28” and to canx the whole order, then place a new order, because they couldn’t change the order for me. I did what I was told, but I didn’t know there were 2 versions of the elite 28, and I accidentally ordered the hard-wired version. I was disappointed when I realized what happened and called again. I was told you would send me the right model and I could return the wrong one with a prepaid label. Then I was told you can’t do that until you get the wrong model back, and that I’d get an email with the pre-paid shipping label. I had to call again when I didn’t receive the email. When I got the email, it only had a form and no prepaid label. So I shipped back the wrong model at my cost and ordered the correct model. Very disappointing customer service experience.
