I have been using the traditional Kiska for over 40 years and think they do a great job. Every year during lent, I teach the art of making Ukrainian eggs at our church. My class is very in age from age 4 up into the 80s. People marvel at how pretty the eggs are when they are done. For the ease of younger and newer students, I always purchase the black beeswax because it is readily visible on the egg with the first line drawn. You don’t have to wait until the soot darkens the honey. I always give my students the web address for your shop since we are in Montana and can’t visit in person.
