I really like the diy aspect of this set. You can customize the harp the way you want and end up with an very unique looking harp. The video guides on YouTube helped me very well with assembling the harp. It does take some time from the unassembled kit to the finished harp, but this made the moment, once it was finished, even more satisfying for me! Now I have a beautiful and unique harp-e and it is my first own harp and I am very happy with it!

Great for travelling

I bought Harp-E because I travel a lot. Classic harps are big, fragile and relatively heavy. Harp-E weights less than 5 kg and is rather robust. It fits in a large suitcase if necessary. Since it is a electro acoustics harp its rather quiet which is perfect for playing in hotel rooms even after midnight. The DIY set is easily assembled. Stringing takes a bit of practice to begin with.
