Great rope! Packs small!

This rope packs up pretty small and has been holding really well. One reviewer that rated the rope a 1 said that their prusik did not hold well. Since this is a pretty narrow, 8mm rope you might need to adjust your prusiks to make them work correctly. I am using a 33 inch long, 7mm Bluewater VT Prusik (eye to eye) with a Knut hitch and it holds and slides perfectly. No slip, no jerkiness, it worked perfect. I also use a Trango Vergo Belay device as my rappel brake and that hold and brakes perfectly as well. Lastly, I am using a CT Climbing Quick Roll ascender with this rope and again, its working perfectly. Both of the mechanical devices are rated to 8mm rope for recreational climbing/rappeling (EN 567:2013). I had tried a Sterling 6.8mm hollow block and a 23 inch 6mm Eye to Eye for prusiks but neither worked as well as the 7mm Bluewater. The 7mm Bluewater is smooth, holds perfectly and is easy to get sliding again after locking up. All in all this is a great rope when you use the correct mechanicals and prusiks with it.
