PB Style Build Your Own Bass Guitar Kit

Great kit

This was a fun project and assembly was straightforward. I only ran into two minor problems. First, the predrilled holes for the tuners in the headstock were slightly off, so that once I installed them, the bushings wouldn’t fit in. I used a 1/16 drill to carefully enlarge the holes, then pliers and wood blocks to fit them in without scratching them. Second, during the setup, I encountered a rattle when plucking the G string. Turns out two of the four tuner handles were loose (maybe bad spot welds) but some Locktite superglue fixed them. I would definitely recommend this kit. The setup instructions were good and now I’m in module 2 in the Bass Buzz course.

P-bass build

I am impressed my the quality of the body and especially the rosewood fretted neck. All the parts seem to be good quality, except for the electronics (which the company admits on it's site). I knew this going in, so i ordered used Fender wired pickups and pots to use in mu build.
