The Boot
Combining the rugged good looks of the Cavalier, with several modifications for everyday convenience, the Zephyr was the original zipper-back moccasin. A brass YKK zipper above the heel provides added on-and-off speed and permits snugger fit around the leg than it's Cavalier forefather. Leathers & Sole Options

Zephyr - The High Boot for Me
I always wanted a pair of cowboy boots, but they really weren't my style. I wore a pair of safety toe RW engineer boots for years at work but they were too narrow, so I never really "loved" them. Still, the desire for a comfortable high pull-on boot kept me looking. After 2 pair of Back Country's and 1 Oneida, I decided to pull the trigger on the Zephyr. Wow! These are the perfect blend of comfort, style, Russell build quality and a just plain joy to wear! I was a little skeptical at first. They aren't as glove like as my Back Country's, but that was an unfair comparison., (pull-on versus Lace-up) is a totally different fit. After about 2 weeks of wearing my Zephyr's my feet settled in. The heal slip became a non-factor and the comfort became equal to, although very different from my Back Country's. Mine are in Walnut Timber-jack, soft, supple yet structured. However, after a visit with Rob, now, I really want another pair in Sage!!! Darn you Rob!!!!!!

Very comfortable, super soft upper leather. So nice, almost afraid to wear them. But, I will.

My Favorite
Have a couple different pairs of Russels, the Zephyr is hands down my favorite. It looks as good as it feels. Could not be happier.
