Wurtz or Little Cado Dwarf Avocado Tree

So Far So Good🤩

It arrived safe and sound, Getting the ground prepared for planting was a cinch but getting it into position was a little tricky just because the soil in the container was loose around the root ball but it all worked out without any problems. The tree was a bit stressed at first, we had a hot spell, I was concerned about the leaves getting burned so I made a shade cloth tent to cover it during the hottest part of the days until it started perking up (getting settled into it’s new home) it’s doing really well, the tent came off for good about 5 days ago. It looks happy and healthy. I ordered fertilizer from Everglades Farm specifically for avocado trees which should arrive soon, I’m sure it will thrive and eventually we’ll have amazing avocados 🥑

I ordered the tree and it was delivered very fast and was well packaged for shipping. It had a few older leaves falling off but good branching started and great looking newer leaves well. I transplanted to a bigger container and the root system was looking good and healthy. Looking forward to ordering more trees when they are back in stock and available. I hope it continues to do as well as the other avocados I have growing in containers in North Carolina.
