We purchased this to build alongside our 11 year old. The body of the guitar is gorgeous. It’s simple with the pre-routed areas. The assembly should be easy. We’re very unimpressed with the instructions for putting it all together. We ended up watching a lot of YouTube to figure out how components came together — and there’s no institutional support from VibeWorks except a mostly text manual that really doesn’t SHOW how to make this all work. The bridge has had nothing but issues. We’ve had to get a replacement saddle height adjustment screw, which is impossible to find at local guitar shops. (We live in Chicago.) After changing it out the saddle still keeps dropping on one side of the A-string. We tested it with other screws that are working and that did not fix the issue. It is a faulty saddle. Now we’re taking it to a guitar shop to have it looked at because we are stuck. This process was rewarding for our son, but highly frustrating and is getting a lot more expensive for parents than we planned. We would not purchase a Vibe Works kit in the future.
