I am from Quebec so I train my cat in french. It took 2 months to my cat Mimi to press enough to hear the word. We practice with 2 words at the beginning (treat and play) and then we entered 1 word every 2 weeks. We experiment something suprising... Mimi seems to use it's buttons to ask demands but also to describe what WE are doing ! So she says "eating" while we are at the table. Also, she seems to make a link between eating ant playing (I tought that the meaning of play is to hunt for her, so it would make sense). Mimi whant to talk all the time, she is always near her button mat. I talk with short words and sentences since a year to prepare the introduction of the FluentPet buttons. I already use up to 40 words with her so I think that she will be a very good speaker-cat ! Maybe will I make videos of my cat, because I didnt found no Quebec-francophone cat on internet ! It is a lot of time spent with Mimi to make her understand the language and to try to understand HER mind... that's the most mesmerising effect of this experience. Thanks and sorry for my english.

We have two italian greyhound whippet crosses, one of which is a natural linguist; already using 8 buttons within the first week, the other isn't really that motivated yet but I'm sure he will in time. The buttons are great quality!
