Curtain upgrade
Decided to take advantage of the recent offer to upgrade my original SwitchBot Curtain motors, purchased via the launch on KickStarter. The originals have worked well and reliably for 6 years. The latest version (3) are a whole new ball game and it's impressive to see how much progress has been made since launch. Very, very pleased.

Quite impressed!
Overall it works! Need to sell an extension piece for the solar panels so that they hang 50cm lower. Matter configuration didn't seem to work. Really needs smooth low friction tape on top surface of curtain pole to work acceptably. Curtains don't meet in the middle and leave an annoying gap, but appreciate that is mainly to do with the curtain rod and bracket arrangement. Perhaps some suggestions about how to close this gap? Overall, good, easy to install ...
once you have installed some smooth tape on curtain rail if you need it! A bit pricey but cool!
