The Savvy Feeder®

Very happy with this feeder. I bought 2 for my two individual turnout paddocks. After a winter of lots of wasted hay that turned into a mud bog, I knew I had to make a change. I like how safe these feeders are for my horses. I like that they are plastic and the feed holes are easy on teeth without being a hazard for shod horses. Perfect for my easy keepers!

Excellent hay feeders

The Savvy feeder is easy to fill and easy to manage. It is heavy enough that my boys don’t pick it up or try to destroy it, but light enough for me to carry it. I like that it holds 3 flakes of my hay. I now have one feeder for each of my two horses. I appreciate that my feeders were shipped and delivered promptly. This is a good product and a good company.

Perfect for RAO feeding

My 8 yo Dutch WB gelding has RAO and must have his hay dunked before feeding to rinse away all the dust. He would drag his hay everywhere through the stall and it was a mess. We tried a hay bag, but it's hard on the neck, which led us to the Savvy Feeder. It is perfect. I ordered it with the large holes since I wasn't trying to restrict feeding, just provide a clean place for his wet hay. I chose this feeder over another round feeder as I wanted something easy to fill. The Savvy feeder is super easy to load and is sturdy. My boy chowed down without any issues immediately. I am very happy with this purchase.
