The Savvy Feeder®

This slow feeder really delivers. Quality, sturdy craftsmanship -- enough to handle a mouthy, busy, playful 4-year-old. Easy to load, easy to clean. The engineering works perfectly -- filling the feeder keeps hay in front of my gelding most of the overnight hours. The different sized grates and replacement parts are a wonderful option, but so far there has been no destruction. I can't say enough good things about the product or the customer service -- I had a couple of phone calls with Lenny to talk about some things and his advice worked everything out exactly right. This is a product and a company that delivers on its claims, and I couldn't be happier. .

Works great

Much easier than haybags and even my skeptical pony took to eating in it on day 2. They do eat the hay a bit quicker than the haybags, but for for older pony that’s ok for her. My only challenge is with the sliding piece being a bit challenging to lock in place sometimes, but so far it’s holding up great and horses are calmly eating out of it vs getting frustrated with hay bags.

Very happy with this feeder. I bought 2 for my two individual turnout paddocks. After a winter of lots of wasted hay that turned into a mud bog, I knew I had to make a change. I like how safe these feeders are for my horses. I like that they are plastic and the feed holes are easy on teeth without being a hazard for shod horses. Perfect for my easy keepers!
