It Gets the Job Done

Overall it is solidly built and does what it’s made for. You can get a good workout with it. However, I want to share some observations… 1- It is not 1:1 with an actual gym machine. The workout I get from it is good but not as good. 2-I am not a fan of the roller, I wish it were fixed instead of swiveling. It makes it hard to get a full range of motion on leg curls. It also bends slightly under pressure so I do one leg at a time to not over-stress it. 3-Switching between modes and adjusting the seat/thigh pad takes some effort but it’s not unexpected for machines at this price point.

Almost perfect…

Delivery was prompt and came in two boxes. Assembly was easy and took me about 1.5 hours. The machine is VERY sturdy and does not move at all during exercises. Some have commented online that there is some sway in the leg roller. I have not experienced any. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It might be the only machine in this price range that does seated leg curls, which I prefer over lying leg curls. Here are three things (maybe nit-picky but very easy improvements) that would make me give it a perfect 5 stars: 1) Provide bolts, nuts and washer in black, as opposed to stainless steel. Makes it blend in nicer. All my other gym equipment came with black bolts, nuts and washers. 2) Provide thicker rubber rings for the weight horn. If you only load one plate, the weight might hit the left main base on the way back down. This is minor though, just be sure to balance the weight on each side. 3) And the biggest for me….provide two vertical grips for on top of the thigh pad holder to hang onto for when you do seated leg curls. I find that to be a more natural/comfortable position than the side handles. And you already have two bolts on the thigh pad holder in the perfect spot to be able to add those handles.

Overall its pretty solid and gets the job done but mine has a slight offset in the shin pad that means my left leg is slightly ahead of my right leg.
