Razor Blade Review

I purchased three different blade brands as a sampler. I’m afraid that as of this writing I have not yet tried the Astra blades but I did shave several times with the Shark blades and I have found them to be average. I use a Merkur double edge safety razor and no blade works as good in it as Merkur blades which also seem to be hard to come by. Even the Feather brand blades don’t shave as nice as the Merkur blades. Maybe if I used them in a Feather brand razor they would work better??

I am not very happy with Astra Platinum blades. Barely got one good shave out of each blade.

My favorite blade!

I find the Astra blades to be the perfect sharpness for my beard. I find feathers just a little too sharp, I use the Astra's in some old school Gillette razors, a Mercur 38C, and a Edwin Jagger DE89..
