CVO Sneaker Reissue

I bought these Sperry CVOs in early April, and by mid-July the heel lining had already failed after wearing them roughly once a week. The fabric has worn completely through at the heel, but even more concerning is that the lining is bubbling and separating from the shoe because the adhesive underneath appears to be failing. This isn’t normal wear and tear—it’s a construction defect. A canvas sneaker should last far longer than a dozen or so wears before the interior starts disintegrating. I’ve owned inexpensive canvas shoes that held up better than this. Sperry markets itself as a heritage footwear brand, but the quality here feels cheap, rushed, and unacceptable. The failure of the glue holding the lining in place makes me question their quality control altogether. Unless Sperry stands behind this product and replaces it, I won’t be buying another pair. Extremely disappointed. Get Vans instead, they last longer.

It’s the same sneakers I remember in the 80’s, slim look and matches well with most of my outfits.
