The original is built like a tank!

I love this machine! The all-metal body is a really nice touch and looks great. In my opinion, the only advantages of the Studio version are the physical buttons and the built-in scale. Other than that, this model offers all the same functions, though they can be slightly less intuitive to use. The brew cards are the same, and the automatic pour-over works very well—it’s consistent and reliable. It also comes with most of the same accessories. There’s no tea brewer on this model, but that’s not a big deal for me. I would highly recommend this machine, as well as the coffee pods—they come in a wide variety and are excellent quality.

Great customer service

I was provided a new, replacement Original at very reasonable 'refurbishment' cost after my 2+ yr old Kickstarter Original broke down. My Moccamaster is back on mothballs.

Good coffee in the middle of nowhere
