Essential for bag-making

Although my Janome HD9 did come with a teflon foot, it was only one - the regular width (about 1/4”) so I was out of luck when wanting to sew very narrowly when bag-making, like for zippers. Also the foot was “fat,” meaning, it didn’t allow the presser bar to raise up as high as needed when sewing through multiple layers of thick material. I heard this very complaint talked about on a bag-making Facebook group, and one of the commenters mentioned these presser feet from Your Vinyl Source being the answer to the difficulty. She was right - I love having these two widths in my toolbox. Besides being just that teensy little bit thinner - and that makes all the difference in the world - the material in the teflon part is sleek, sturdy and smooth. No sharp edges like they had just been removed from a heated press and there were bits of plastic leaking out around a mold that didn’t quite fit right - these are more like the edges had been sanded smooth all over with care and attention to detail. Plus, they’re pretty! And that just puts the last little flourish on an already great product.

Narrow non-stick zipper foot

I'm collecting feet for my recently purchased Bernette 08 and I just received this foot today so haven't used it yet. It arrived super fast - less than a week from purchase. Beautifully packaged!
