This jacket is awesome. I’m 5’11” 195 and the large fits perfect. The cut is spot on, plenty of room for layering but it somehow still looks trim and athletic. Quiet fabric. The sleeves are long and articulate well in the armpits so they never feel restrictive. Having the slick lining makes layering easy. I used to run a sawtooth hybrid jacket over my kiln but it was always a pain to pull over the sleeves. In my opinion the suppressor is a little overpriced, by maybe $30-50, but so is anything else you’d buy from a quality brand these days. At least its designed specifically for hunters, and it really shows in the details. Feels quite warm for how thin it is. If there’s one thing I hate it’s being cold in the backcountry when you’re trying to focus on the hunt. Packed in miles deep, day 5, you’re hungry, running on a few hours of sleep, everything’s hurting, haven’t seen elk in days. Crawling out of your bag in the dark to sit on a windy ridge again. Times like these having warm gear is essential to keeping you out in the field.
