It's a beautiful gift

This was a gift from my parents. My dad and I had a trip up there and got some Limited Edition Yoopers. A few months later this showed up on my porch. It's a beautiful gift. I don't know whether to use it or just keep it on display. The Mackinaw looks to be a great fixed blade work knife, but since it's a limited edition, I just want to look at it. Of course, the Stormy Kromer story is very interesting and it adds to the Michigan nostalgia. The craftsmanship on both the knife and the sheath are quite impressive. I'd recommend Rapid River Knives for edc, the Mackinaw as a solid fixed blade, and the Stormy Kromer edition is a beautiful collection piece.

Awesome combo of two great UP manufacturers! The curly maple is great and a touch of buffalo spaid on the sheath sets if off perfect.
