The reference guide when travelling

I have just purchased the newly released Florence & Tuscany title as my wife and I are planning a trip there next year. I have been using Lonely Planet guide ever since the first one (Across Asia on the cheap!) released in the 70s! We have travelled around the world and are now retired in Portugal from where we continue to travel! Lonely Planet has always been the reference guide for us. Only one suggestion: as a photographer, I think it would be good if you could indicate when sites are to be visited (morning or afternoon) for optimum light! just a thought!
