Essential guide for Colombia 🇨🇴

An excellent and inspiring guide to Colombia — comprehensive, practical and a pleasure to use. I especially appreciate the cultural insights and detailed recommendations. My only suggestion would be to reintroduce a transport overview with estimated journey times and costs between major destinations, as included in earlier editions. It would make planning even smoother.

Call me an old school nerd or not, but I love the Lonely Planet books and this one about Colombia hit all the spots as usual. Highly recommend.

Going solo to Colombia, aged 66

I am feeling quite trepedacious about my upcoming trip so was looking forward to my LP Colombia book. I have used LP for years and heavily relied on it for accommodation and restaurants and could read between the lines because I was so used to the format. The Colimbia book is different and so far I prefer the old format. I like highlighter on the page rather than searching online for hostels etc. I get it, but still wish LP was as it used to be. Still invaluable though and I wouldn't travel without it. Not been on my trip yet so my opinion might change
