Kailee P. Sasha 2025 Review - Satin Block Heel Wedding Sandals with Perla Ankle Strap (Ivory)

I bought these shoes a couple of months ago for my wedding on July 6, 2025. The top-line and the vamp (vamp is the section of the shoe that goes over the top of the toes) were the shape I had long been searching for, but I had struggled to find. I've found that most shoes with this shape of vamp have a closed toe. Being that I'm getting married in the summer, I want the open toe, and I personally enjoy the curvature and width of this shoe's vamp. The heel height is right in the range I was looking for, favoring the higher end of the range. Obviously, these qualities come down to personal preference, so be sure to evaluate these features for yourself.
More objectively, the block-heel allows for better stability when standing and walking in a shoe of this height. The lack of platform beneath the ball of the foot means a deeper arch, so if you're not comfortable with a higher arch in the foot, consider looking elsewhere. Kailee P. has similar styles in shorter shoe-heights. Personally, this shoe height doesn't bother my feet.
The perla ankle strap absolutely did NOT come as advertised. I read that the accessories are handmade, which may mean other women have had or would have a different experience. Mine, however, were quite disappointing. The pearls on the satin straps that came with my shoes do not wrap all the way around my ankles, and I'm an athletic person with lean ankles. The pearl applique stops about halfway back on both sides of both ankles. Additionally, they are stiff and flat, so when wrapping around my ankle, they easily loosen and do not secure my foot in the shoe. I had my mother pull tightly and double-knot while I was standing. The satin slips loose and the stiffness eventually wins out, as the straps somewhat return to their flat position while on my ankle. This may change with time as I continue to break them in, so I'll check back as the wedding nears if this changes. At the moment, we have the buckle-straps, which also came with the shoe, inserted as well as the pearl straps. I've been securing my feet in the shoes with the buckle-straps, then tying the pearl straps over the top. This has allowed me to feel secure in the shoe, but the pearl straps eventually loosen and reveal the buckle-strap underneath anyway. It is also far less comfortable trying to rock two different straps on one ankle. For this reason, I've knocked the appearance down to a 6-7/10. The shoe is very beautiful otherwise!

I have a pair of 4" stilettos. I can wear them all night at a wedding, and indeed, I have. I danced the Rasputin in them once. I don't mind wearing heels, they tend not to bother me (unless the toe box is small and closed, because I have a neuroma in my left foot. Yikes, gross - I know!) These shoes, after standing for just a few minutes, irritated the neuroma in the ball of my left foot, despite having an open toe. Now, this is a unique issue that you likely don't struggle with yourself. My right foot was fine at the weight-baring point of the shoe. I have to assume, then, that for most women who don't mind high arches, these shoes are relatively comfortable.
I first tried them on with stockings, because I didn't want to stain or dirty the sole, since the return policies are strict, and my foot slid up and down with every step. When trying them on again last night without stockings, this issue of the sliding disappeared. Fortunately for me, I don't plan to wear stockings on the day of our wedding. If you do, be mindful that you may slide up and down, and that causes that beautiful vamp I talked about to cut into the top of your foot. I also walked on carpet, as to not damage the outsoles of the shoes (again, for the potential need to return). The shoes were stable, apart from the occasional instability that came with walking on a carpet (though good practice for walking on grass, which our reception is). The counter of the shoe (the back where it caresses the heel) is quite comfortable. Notably so! It doesn't chafe at all, stockings or no stockings.

Harsh? Perhaps. When you get flexible return policies at stores like Amazon these days, it's hard to be patient when other online shops are not. To charge a restocking fee when your online product is something that one has to try on to ensure proper fit, in my opinion, is extremely frustrating. I was disappointed just enough to return the shoes, had the policy not been this way. I decided them worth keeping, to hopefully continue breaking them in and in the event I decide to do so, to put the restocking money instead towards a new bridal shoe. I'm hopeful that the straps loosen and tie better as time goes on, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that without stockings, the shoes were more comfortable. My neuroma is my problem, so hopefully I find a way to overcome that.
