I was a bit dubious at first, sometimes flavoured matcha can taste a bit chemically, but not this stuff. Absolutely delicious, and I felt it definitely gave me a boost, especially in the afternoon. I went straight to the website to see if I could order more, but it didn't seem to be available outside a bundle unfortunately.

Tried it cold first, into whole milk straight out of the fridge. it took a lot of mixing, but it got there in the end. I was very glad to have the frother that came with the sample. I was very pleasantly surprised by the taste. Sweet, but not overly so. A nice balance of vanilla which can be difficult to pitch sometimes. When added to whole milk warmed in the microwave the flavours change slightly. I think more of the matcha comes forward. It reminds me of something I can't put my finger on yet. It's still a very nice drink, but it's a bit of a faff for me to make it warm at work. I tried it with water as an experiment. The instructions are to use milk, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I tried it with cold water first and it still works, but it's not as nice. It's a bit harsh, but it's OK. Similar results with hot water. It's quite bitter. All in all I'm pleased with this drink when prepared as instructed. I'm tempted to switch my regular rainbow dust subscription to this for the summer and have it with cold milk as it's a really refreshing and tasty drink, but it would mean I'd have to up my milk deliveries a lot.

Tastes great, not as sweet and creamy as others that I find too sickly. The sweetness and vanilla favouring are both right. No gritty texture. I tried with all milk (semi skimmed) and then half milk half water, and then all milk (skimmed) I preferred the latter. Very easy to mix and blends well.
